Legal Director - Litigation - Biopharma- Uk Remote Or London Or Germany

Our client is an international bio-pharmaceutical company which has experienced significant recent growth and now seeks a Director Legal Litigation to join their expanding, high level legal team.

The role will report to their Global Head of Legal Litigation and will be responsible for contentious matters across the business but with a main focus on commercial disputes (excluding IP), particularly product liability disputes. Your main responsibilities will include:  Directing and managing a diverse range of dispute resolution actions, including pre-litigation/pre-arbitration dispute resolution, active litigation / arbitration, discovery / document production and other litigation requests and procedures. 

You will be a fully qualified UK or US qualified lawyer with a Minimum of 5 years prior litigation / arbitration experience in an international law firm or in an in-house counsel role (highly regulated industry, ideally life science or pharmaceutical experience). You will also be a supportive interpersonal team player skilled in working effectively with people across a wide range of disciplines in a complex and fast-moving corporate environment. 

The role can be based remotely or in London in the UK or potentially in Germany.
