Legal Officer

We are currently partnering with a public sector organisation based in Coventry, who are recruiting for a Legal Officer to join their growing team on an initial 2-month locum basis.

This is a full-time position offering £23.51 per hour via an umbrella company, and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible to support with an increased workload in the team.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting the delivery of legal and case management support for the organisation’s Adult Social Care and Education departments
• Drafting documentation including court papers, letters, reports and statements
• Considering and providing advice to the client department on documentation prepared
• Identifying and obtaining witness statements and other evidence

Experience required:

• Experience required within the public sector
• Experience in Adult Social Care/Education is desirable

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
