Legal Secretary

Avocet Commercial are working with a friendly, professional law firm who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their team

Working directly with one of the company solicitors you will be responsible for supporting with producing a variety of documents from audio/ digital dictation and other instructions as directed.

Duties include:

• Accurate collation and pagination of necessary documents
• Managing the storage, retrieval and filing of client files
• Daily use of the company's case management and IT systems including Micro Soft Office and Visual Files
• Answering client queries via telephone and email whilst maintaining a professional manner
• Effectively managing your workload and ensuring set timelines are met
• Arranging and planning meetings and appointments whilst ensuring the solicitor's diary is up to date

The successful Legal Secretary will be able to demonstrate the below skills and attributes:

• Previous working knowledge within a similar role
• Experienced audio typist with excellent typing skills in excess of 70 WPM
• IT Proficient including Mircosoft Office with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for accuracy
• Impeccable written and spoken communication skills with a confident telephone manner
• Personal Injury and Medical Terminology knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential

Starting salary of up to £24000 depending on experience
