The role of a Legal Support Assistant is crucial within the Private Client Department. This position involves various responsibilities that are essential for the smooth operation of legal services.
As part of the Private Client Department, the Legal Support Assistant plays a key role in supporting fee earners and ensuring efficient workflow. Reporting to senior members of the team, the responsibilities of this position are vital for the overall success of the department. The location for this role is in Cardiff, providing a great opportunity for those in the area.
About the Role
A Legal Support Assistant is responsible for various key tasks that contribute to the effective functioning of the Private Client Department. These include managing the file opening process, liaising with clients to provide support and updates, offering administrative assistance to fee earners, preparing financial transactions, drafting and formatting legal documents, and managing diaries for fee earners to ensure smooth scheduling.
About the Candidate
To excel in the role of a Legal Support Assistant, candidates are required to possess certain skills and experiences. These include previous experience in a legal environment, strong legal administration skills, client-facing experience, proficiency in IT skills, and a keen attention to detail with strong organisational abilities.
