Our client, a top-ranking and award winning law firm, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Legal Secretary/PA to join their friendly and supportive team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive one on one administrative support to partners
- Prepare, draught, and format legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Using digital dictation systems to type documents
- Manage legal diaries, coordinate meetings, and make travel arrangements as required
- Maintain confidential client files, ensuring records are up to date and properly organised
- Assist with billing processes, including generating invoices and managing client billing inquiries
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, solicitors, and barristers
- Conduct legal research and prepare court bundles and trial documents as necessary
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary is essential, ideally within a claimant firm
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and proficiency in legal document formatting
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the highest quality of work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management software
