Job description

This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working, 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and 6% pension.

Salary 19,000 to 25,000 per annum

 About the role

We are looking for someone confident and resilient to join us. (This role is known internally as Expert Services Administrator).

Which? Expert Services provide legal, money and tech advice. This covers a wide range of consumer matters such as Employment law, debt support and remote device access for tech support. We have over 70,000 members and take over 130,000 calls per year.

You will become a key part of our high performing, dynamic and fun environment and will be supporting colleagues with various administrative tasks within the department.

By supporting the department you'll contribute to the shared vision to deliver customer service that is outstanding every time. Whilst also providing the highest standard of customer support yourself in all communications.

We pride ourselves on the quality of service we provide our members and you will be integral in ensuring this.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining all appropriate booking systems and spreadsheets which accurately reflect the teams diary/activities/events and organising meetings and team activities/events.
  • Calling members when required to support their appointment booking.
  • Working towards the strategic aims of the department and organisation through contributing to improvement projects.
  • Actively review operational processes to develop efficiencies, identify trends and support the growth of the business and work alongside the management team to implement and adopt new processes.
  • Supporting with ad-hoc duties such as, creating guidance documents, technical and administrative assistance and scope queries surrounding processes.

About you:

  • Ideally, you'll be confident and have the ability to work under pressure to short deadlines. You will have strong organisational skills and are able to prioritise and manage concurrent tasks
  • You'll strive to go the extra mile in everything you do, always putting our members first. You'll have good working knowledge of Google Workspace with a willingness to act as a trouble shooter with a flexible approach in all that you do.

Our interview process usually involves 2 stages:

  • Sometimes a chat with a recruiter or hiring manager by phone (typically 30 minutes), followed by
  • An interview on Google Meet (approximately 45-90 minutes) consisting of values and experience-based competency questions and a role related task on a laptop
