Harris Invictus Academy is a vibrant, happy and successful school at the heart of the community. We know that our young people have incredible strengths and talents which we nurture. Main Areas of ResponsibilityYour responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with all users, including regular hirers, sports/activity camp providers, school staff, central team, contractors, suppliers
- Ensuring that our customers receive the highest possible level of customer service, whilst providing a safe, enjoyable and welcoming environment
- Communicating to ensure staff and visitors are safeguarded. You thrive under pressure, are decisive and calm, whilst maintaining the highest levels of professionalism at all times. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a team
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Qualifications to GCSE level or equivalent
- An appropriate qualification in a customer or service-related discipline, e.g. NVQ, BTEC
- Basic IT skills, with the ability to control, monitor, review PC based CCTV system
- Knowledge of safeguarding and how to keep children safe
- Organisational and time management skills, with ability to work on own initiative, with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation and amongst service users, both orally and in writing
- Commitment to teamwork and a 'can do' approach to problems and issues
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in an education environment, with experience of conducting risk assessments, maintenance and safety inspections
