Lettings Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Negotiator to join this busy, well established independent agent within their office in Leicester. 

The successful Lettings Negotiator will ideally be experienced within a current lettings role and have a natural flare and a desire to work with a highly experienced, well established team.

Lettings Negotiator – Benefits

• A basic salary of up to £26,000 depending on experience
• This is a Monday to Friday role only, no weekend required!

Lettings Negotiator – Duties

• To work with the lettings team to  dealing with legal documentation ensuring that all tenancies are compliant
• Play your part in helping to build the brand in the local marketplace.
• Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries, providing high levels of customer service at all times.
• Pre-qualifying applicants and arranging viewings
• Carrying out viewings and obtaining feedback
• Negotiating new tenancies with landlords and tenants.
• Processing tenant references and right to rent checks
• Preparing tenancy agreements, issuing legal documents relating to the tenancy and ensuring that all safety certificates are in place prior to move in.
• Working with the property management team ensuring that properties have been prepared for move in.
• Supporting with maintenance needs across the managed portfolio
• Supporting with inventories, inspections and checks out where necessary
• Compiling floor plans and marketing material for nearly listed stock
• Ensuring a smooth hand over of keys and that tenants

This is a varied role and will provide you with broad experience across the front end lettings and property management process. You will be working within a fast paced, busy independent local lettings agent who pride themselves on the service level provided. 

Lettings Negotiator – Experience Needed

• Experience within a similar Lettings Negotiator or property management role is advantageous.
• Previous experience of using Microsoft office packages
• You must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle
