This is an office based, but incredibly varied role where no two days are ever the same!
As a negotiator, you'll mainly be responsible for finding great tenants for our properties and your day will consist of:
The team have been successfully lettings and managing properties in and around Derby for many years now and have built an excellent reputation for top-notch service and delivering great results.
Now, usually we're big advocates of valuing attitude over experience. However history has taught us that for this role in particular, some form of previous lettings or property management experience is required. Ideally, we're looking for candidates with:
1) An understanding of the property management process.
2) An understanding of what makes great customer service.
3) Excellent organisation and time management.
4) Confident in talking to people face-to-face and on the phone.

We currently have six sales branches and one central lettings branch strategically placed throughout the Derby suburbs with a team of well over 50 people.
This position is at our Lettings Head Office on High Street in Chellaston where you'll be based with the whole team. It's a great office with plenty of free local parking and a number of shops nearby if you fancy something different for lunch!
We're looking for someone who can work 5 days a week, including every other Saturday. The day starts at 8.45am with a morning meeting and finishes at 5.30pm (and 4pm on Saturdays).
That would mean taking a day off in the week when you work a Saturday which would be a set day each time.
What can you expect working at Hannells?
Well, first of all - we're a family run business and we've no intention of changing that anytime soon. So many of the local independent agents have already been taken over by large corporate chains - but that's not us!
And whilst the whole team undoubtedly works hard, there's not a constant pressure to hit hundreds of milestones and KPIs because that's not what we're about.
We don't need to do that because our people are just naturally passionate about getting amazing results for our customers and delivering great service.
It's also a great team environment with none of those letting agency horror stories you hear about where staff "steal" other people's offers and leads. And that's because the whole team gets commission on what the branch produces, not the individuals- so it's about working together as a team.
