We are currently looking for someone with passion, energy and empathy to join our Voids & Lettings team, as a Lettings Officer. You will be customer-focused and understand that your work significantly affects our customer’s experience and journey.
You will have excellent communication skills and be someone that can build a rapport quickly with customers, professionals and colleagues, alike. As this role is fast-paced, you will need to be accustomed to working under pressure, able to make quick decision, where required, and have a flexible approach to working.
You will be confident in taking ownership of driving efficiency to let SBC properties within the agreed timescales whilst adhering to our Allocation Scheme, SBC policies and procedures. You will be customer-focused and understand that your work significantly impacts on our customers.
This role involves working with many partners, both internal and external as well as individually using your own initiative. You need will have excellent administrative skills, be IT literate, have good inter-personal skills in dealing with customers whilst having a flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
You will possess excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Excel and Word and database systems giving attention to detail and accuracy. You will preferably have background of working within social housing environment or similar experience; however full training will be given to the right candidate.
Please note that a full UK drivers licence and access to a car that can be used for business use is essential for this role.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
