Job description

Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We are international in India, USA and the UK, running 13 (soon to be 14!) Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding nurseries in and around London. We blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches. This magical fusion, combined with state-of-the-art learning spaces and 21st-century technology, brings a whole new level of wonder to Early Years education at Kido.

Our Camden nursery sits in an enchanting old temple which reflects its charm and history while creating a fantastic and inviting nursery. Its mezzanine floor is devoted to preschoolers, while the ground floor contains two toddler rooms and a dedicated babies room. Its large stained-glass windows provide plenty of light and its Montessori-inspired classrooms are airy, bright and calming. As one proud parent recently shared, “We highly recommend Kido Camden, our son has been going there for two and a half years and loves it. Their care and the love they show to my son is just amazing. They share pictures of my child and notes from the day so you know what they've been up to. Learning journeys have been outstanding in every area since he started. It is difficult to say goodbye as he starts reception. I'll always recommend Kido Camden to my friends and neighbours. Thank you all!”

Kido Camden is located near both the Camden Underground and Overground stations, has its own large garden and is stone’s throw away from beautiful public gardens, London Zoo and Regent’s Park. The address is: Spiritualist Temple, Rochester Square, London, NW1 9RY

The role of Qualified Early Years Educator

Welcome to the heart of Kido, where passion, ambition, and people are at the core of everything we do! As a Qualified Early Years Educator you’ll be more than just an educator; you’ll be an ambassador for our values, and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture.

Your primary focus will be creating a safe and inspiring learning environment where every child thrives. You’ll be a team player ensuring that you and your team meet the unique needs of each child, collaborating with the team to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards for child learning and development. An ability to effectively communicate with parents, children and colleagues will set you apart and aid us in delivering the best experience possible.

With a hands-on approach and with great attention to detail, you’ll deliver exceptional experiences throughout the children's learning journeys within our nursery. You’ll take ownership of observing and assessing your key children, and you’ll work with the child, colleagues and parents to set goals.

We believe in celebrating every child's unique journey, and you'll play a key role in assessing and recording their progress and achievements. By aligning to our systems of observation, you'll ensure no milestone goes unnoticed, and every achievement is celebrated.

We take pride in creating a nurturing environment that caters to individual needs, acknowledging the diversity of each child's background, culture, disabilities, and medical history. Your flexibility and dedication, insights and feedback will be valued as we constantly push the boundaries of excellence and reimagine what exceptional Early Years education really means.
