Job description
We have a selection of quality, show jumping, dressage and eventing horses from Ireland, Europe and other UK sources.
The business is run by Kim Clark who has a very well established reputation in this field, a qualified instructor who teaches clients from novice to international level at her establishment that backs onto the New Forest near Marchwood in Hampshire.
Duties to include;
•Mucking out
•Turning out/bringing in
•Tack cleaning
•Tacking up
•Feeding
•Filling hay nets
•Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
•Bathing
•Rug changing
•Schooling
•Riding
•First aid
•Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.)
•Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Qualifications required
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Skills required
Equine experience would be beneficial
Prospects
Possibility of Level 3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship on completion of Level 2
Qualification / Standard : ST0166 Equine groom
Duration 15 months
