A self-motivated, confident person is required to work within a fast-paced demanding customer service and sales office position. Candidate needs to have a smart appearance and be able to maintain a professional manner at all times. Candidate needs to be hardworking, work well on their own or as part of a team.
Duties:
• Receive sales orders and enquiries by phone, email and via company portal.
• Assess each order in terms of customer requirements including answering any queries surrounding products, prices and delivery requirements.
• Communicate with customers about general service issues
• Using software to process sales orders with a very high level of accuracy.
• Generating Purchase orders for special products and bespoke items.
• Ability to understand customer account status and where necessary liaise with accounts department on any credit control issues impacting the delivery of sales orders.
• Take payment details for cash and card sale orders and process cash and card transactions.
• Ensure rapid and accurate communication with other personnel/departments as required
• Attend exhibitions and shows that The company exhibit at from time to time, to increase competitor awareness and meet existing customers.
