We are looking for a Level 3 Childcare Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our team in a school setting, specifically within the nursery/reception classroom. This long-term temporary role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about contributing to the early development of children.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage with children in the nursery/reception classroom, providing high-quality care and education.
- Plan and implement activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support children’s learning and development.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and sharing information with parents and colleagues.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to education and care.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential.
- Previous experience in an early years setting, working with nursery and reception age children.
- A thorough understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- A team player with a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
