Position Overview: We are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the school starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education and care to our students. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Help to create and maintain learning resources and displays that enhance the learning environment.
• Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other school activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the holistic development of students.
• Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Commitment to upholding the school's values and ethos.
