We are looking to appoint a highly effective SEND Teaching Assistant for this temporary position to work full time in KS1 and Reception. We are a very friendly school committed to developing happy, vibrant, life-long learners. We are situated in the heart of Kings Norton and are striving to improve our provision for all of our children and families.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed practitioner to join our supportive team.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate they have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

• a friendly, positive outlook

• high expectations and a commitment to raising standards for all pupils

• the ability to work with flexibility to support the needs of pupils

• excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as with external agencies

• experience and passion for supporting children with special educational needs/disabilities.

• an understanding of how to scaffold and support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD and ADHD, in the early stages of their educational development
