Job Duties:
Assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality educational instruction to students in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Support the teacher in planning and preparing engaging lesson materials and resources.
Provide individualised attention and support to students with different learning needs, including those with special educational needs.
Assist with the implementation of behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance.
Help with the assessment and recording of student progress and development.
Supervise students during class activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Collaborate with other teaching staff and professionals to support the overall development of students.
Contribute to the creation of a stimulating and organised learning environment.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Qualifications:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
Experience supporting students in EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational frameworks.
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students, teachers, and parents.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Good ICT skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in specific areas like Special Educational Needs (SEN) or First Aid.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
