Schneider Electric’s Level 6 Technical & Engineering (Electro-Mechanical Engineer) Apprentice Pathway offers the opportunity for Apprentices to gain experience within Industrial Engineering.

Industrialisation Engineer Apprentice (Leeds, Office Based)
Undertake a 4-year programme at Schneider’s Leeds site where you will be provided with on-the-job training in the improvement of industrial processes in terms of ergonomics, labour cost and lead time whilst working towards a Science Industry Process & Plant Engineer Degree Qualification delivered by Aston University.
Industrial Engineer Apprentice (Scarborough, Office Based)
Undertake a 4-year programme at Schneider’s Scarborough site where you will be provided with on-the-job training on the automation of site processes to keep control of productivity, efficiency and effectiveness whilst working towards a Science Industry Process & Plant Engineer Degree Qualification delivered by Aston University.
Entry Requirements
This Pathway is open to candidates with 5 GCSE Grades including Maths, English and STEM-related Subject at C or 4 or above. 3 A levels at CCC or above, to include a mathematics-based subject and a STEM subject or equivalent BTECs.
Desirable Skills
- Good numerical skills
- Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Attention to detail.
- Well organised and capable of following step-by-step instructions.
- Able to work as part of a team.
Future Prospects
After completing an Apprenticeship, performance pending, Apprentices will successfully transition into a permanent position with the team/business they have worked in as an Apprentice.
