Job Purpose
The delivery of goods utilising the Company's 26t & 8t vehicles.
The timely and accurate delivery of goods to customer premises.
Key Accountabilities:
- Delivery of goods to customers' premises.
- Loading of goods onto Company's delivery vehicles.
- Unloading of goods in and checking of products against delivery manifest.
- Collecting of goods from supplier premises
- Putting goods received away into warehouse location.
- Picking of customer orders from computer generated picking ticket which details product description, quantity, warehouse location and batch number.
- Checking of other members of staff's picked goods.
- Decanting of products from cardboard packaging into crates for storage and onward delivery.
- Baling of waste cardboard/shrink wrap for environmental recycling.
- Carry out spot stock checks as and when required.
Dimensions:
- Ensure monthly departmental and personal accuracy KPIs are met (as a minimum), preferably exceeded
Secondary Activities / Tasks
- General housekeeping of the warehouse/site to ensure working environment is clean and safe.
- Any other task that may reasonably be required by the Company.

Functional Competencies
- Previous driving experience.
- Appropriate licence to drive 26t & 18t tonne lorries.
- Lorry mounted crane licence required/beneficial
- Keen people skills - team player.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Extensive manual handling involved with position.
- Ability to understand and adhere to Company's H&S policies and procedures.
- Clean driving licence.
- Forklift training.
- Prior experience of working in warehouse environment.
- Desire to progress within the department (via additional training over time).
Behavioural competencies
- Good timekeeping and attendance.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Ability to follow direction of departmental heads.
Other Requirements
- Role will be based at Head Office with approximately 3-4 nights away per week.
