Fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest teams of liability experts in the world. Our client supports and resolves property, general, auto, product, and professional liability claims, helping our clients maintain brand protection in times of crisis.

The Role: This Liability Claims Adjuster is a technical, customer-facing role primarily responsible for conducting investigations to establish both policy and legal liability and settling claims on behalf of our Insurer clients. You will manage third-party public liability property damage claims of varying complexity, working both independently and under licensed referral for claims up to 100k in value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate allegations made against policyholders, providing detailed advice and recommendations on policy and legal liability.
• Collate relevant information, photographs, statements, and documentation to support liability arguments.
• Identify fraud risks and concerns.
• Maintain proactive contact with all parties involved in the claims process and deliver results within agreed service standards.
• Undertake litigation management where appropriate.
• Ensure all databases, files, and correspondence are correctly maintained.

About You:

• Experience: Property (PLPD / TPPD) biased background with the ability to fully investigate all types of liability claims.
• Skills: Strong investigation skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of current case law, common law/statute, and regulations.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Qualifications: Insurance qualifications are desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience.
• Personal Traits: Proactive, self-motivated, well-organised, and capable of working on your own initiative.
• Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential.
