The Library Services team is central to the student experience here at Cardiff Met. Our innovative Workshop program, tying Academic and Library skills to the academic journey, creates a supportive and complementary network of self-directed learning for students.
Customer support it a key element to the Library Service – ensuring all our students and staff know what support we can give them, where to find us and how to get in touch for more information. This team are currently developing new communication strategies, making this an exciting time to join our team.
What you’ll do
You will be assisting in delivering and promoting Library Services across the University and providing a quality customer focused service for the benefit of all our users.
Uphold customer service excellence through proactive maintenance and development of the Library environment, services, collections and team, with adherence to risk management and health and safety standards.
Ensure a professional, timely and customer-focused response to enquiries received, answering and referring these to other departments as necessary.
Resolve problems and make sound decisions to ensure the effective delivery of services within your own level of responsibility, referring more serious matters as appropriate.
