The University of Exeter wishes to recruit a full-time Licenced Animal Technician (rodents) and Assistant Lab Manager to work with academic and technical staff in the University’s Biological Research Facilities. The post is available on the Streatham Campus immediately on a permanent basis.

Summary of the role
An essential member of the BSU (Biological Service Unit) team, the post holder will be part of a team, supporting the day-to-day husbandry of animals in the University’s rodent research facilities (BSU), both in terms of maintaining animal husbandry and supporting the operational needs of a multitude of research projects. They will be responsible for supporting the BSU Manager in all operations, including animal care and health and safety as well as working with personnel and contractors to maintain the facilities.
