Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Licencing Manager to join a great company and team.

As a Licencing manager you will manage and optimise a licencing and other user related costs across the business while maintaining compliance. You will be require to work collaboratively with Procurement, Finance, Supplier Management, and gather requirements from IT and business stakeholders ensuring compliance.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Analysing performance of license projections, Contract administration, including amendments and renewals and maintenance of digital assets.
  • Assessing and preparing licensee business cases contracts and proposals
  • Work jointly/collaboratively with all stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Optimise cost and flexibility and align with strategic direction and Identification and execution of cost improvement opportunities
  • Support streamlining of processes affecting licence or user based EUC use
  • Manage and escalate risks in respect of licence usage
  • Ensure legal compliance
  • Support User recertification into usage and access controls
  • Work with partners and suppliers to be able to provide specialist advice and guidance and market trends and insights.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

Must have:

  • Commercially minded and numerate
  • Ability to work proactively on your own and as part of a team
  • Ability to express and present ideas and facts concisely
  • Understanding of products/licenses and licensing business models.
  • Comfort with analytics, Excel modelling, forecasting. & Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneously

Preferred:

  • General IT knowledge & Experience and Experience with financial services a bonus
  • Cloud Knowledge and hybrid licencing a bonus
