Life and Pensions Administrator Dublin 7 Full/Part Time Permanent Position €30,000 - €35,000, however this is negotiable, depending on experience

Our client deals with the establishment and administration of a large range of Pension, Investment, Life Assurance, Serious Illness and Income Protection Products for both Corporate and Individual clients.

They are a well-established Brokerage, with a team of very experienced professionals. They place a large emphasis on staff wellbeing and encourage professional and personal development. The company offers a supportive and goal oriented environment with open communication channels between all members of the team including Directors.

They are in search of an experienced Life and Pensions Administrator to join the administration team in the office, based in Dublin 7.

The company is conveniently situated adjacent to Smithfield Square and Stoneybatter, just a brief 10-minute stroll from Dublin City Centre. Moreover, the office is mere minutes away from the Green and Red Luas Tram Lines, seamlessly connecting you to both Connolly and Heuston Train Stations. Additionally, the 83 Bus stops right outside the front door, ensuring easy access to public transportation.

The role is primarily office based, yet the company embraces flexibility in working hours. Part-time opportunities are open for the ideal candidate and the employer is open to discussions regarding working hours, accommodating needs such as school runs, and offering a hybrid working arrangement after the successful completion of all training and the probationary period.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Professional Diploma in Financial Advice (QFA) is required
  • Any additional pensions/investment qualification such as RPA will be an advantage
  • Be fully up to date with CPD requirements and be able to provide evidence of same if required
  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a Financial Services administration role dealing with some or all aspects of group/individual pension, protection and investment products
  • Display strong communication skills when taking queries/relaying information to clients, collaborating with other team members on various cases, and reporting to Senior Management/Directors with updates on pipeline and outstanding tasks
  • Guide junior team members and work closely with Managers/Directors to ensure effective teamwork and continuity of excellent service to clients
  • Develop the necessary skills of junior team members when necessary, enabling them to confidently liaise with both Insurers and Clients
  • It is vital that you exhibit an aptitude for attention to detail and time management to meet set deadlines
  • As an experienced member of the team, displaying a strong work ethic and using initiative to work smarter will prove to be advantageous in this role

What will your role look like?

  • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings discussing difficult cases with your team to push the task to a close with the required outcome
  • Ensure you manage daily tasks and workflow efficiently, providing updates on new business cases, claims, client reports and all other tasks to Advisors/Directors when needed and recording updates on our CRM system
  • Dealing with all Client queries efficiently and professionally
  • Prioritise and proactively process new business cases to policy issues and close out queries on time
  • Manage renewals to completion including Risk Scheme Unit Rate Reviews
  • Be aware of the Company s compliance obligations by liaising with our Compliance Officer and ensuring any new requirements are communicated to staff and implemented accordingly
  • Implement and update daily procedures
  • Daily office-related administration
