We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative persons to take up the post of Life Skills Recovery Worker Band 4 to join our teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to actively form therapeutic, meaningful relationships with patients using a range of interventions/activities to enhance their care and improve their inpatient experience.
This post will require you to work a mixture of shift work (9 to 5, long days and night shifts).

Moorgate Ward is a Specialist Autism Ward for males situated in Medium Secure services. Our mission is to provide safe, individualised and specialist care and treatment for detained in-patients with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Demonstrate the ability to write a care plan up to CPA level.
Take an active part in team discussion and decisions relating to patient care and treatment and ensure these are carried out or reviewed as required. This includes attendance at Ward Rounds and CPA meetings.
Take an active part in ensuring the service user maintains the highest level of independence possible, protect the service user’s level of dignity and privacy and empower the service user within the constraints of being an employee of the Trust and the legal constraints that may be placed on the service user.
When required carry out increased observation as per Trust policy.
Liaise with other agencies and health professionals as related to the goals of the care plan.
To know every patient within the clinical setting you are working, knowing early relapse indicators and to assist in the deployment of strategies to effectively manage
