Salary: GBP25000- GBP32000 + Van + Excellent Package

Role

A reputable healthcare supplier is seeking a skilled mobility engineer to join their team. With a focus on maintaining strict confidentiality, we are looking for a talented professional to contribute to their exceptional service delivery. You will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive maintenance of various healthcare equipment, including patient moving and handling devices. Compliance with LOLER Regulations of 1998 is essential. You will also provide training and guidance to clients on equipment maintenance and relevant legislative procedures. Detailed documentation and management of client information, asset registers, and service records using advanced software will be a key part of your role.

The Field Service Engineer Will

• Perform planned preventative maintenance, PUWER, and LOLER inspections on a range of healthcare equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdown callouts and efficiently diagnose and complete repair works.
• Install new equipment, including floor-mounted hoists, ceiling-mounted hoists, baths, and adjustable-height shower beds.
• Deliver necessary equipment training to clients.
• Follow service procedures and fulfill contract servicing agreements.
• Maintain professionalism in all client interactions.

The Ideal Field Service Engineer Should Have

• Proven experience in maintaining healthcare equipment, including LOLER and PUWER testing.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Preferably possess an electrical qualification, although not mandatory.
• Basic plumbing skills.
• Familiarity with Arjo products would be advantageous.
• Ability to pass enhanced DBS checks.
• Hold a full, clean UK driving license.
• Proficient in manual handling techniques.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
  

Package

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday (hours dependent on work schedule).
• Ability to travel within the UK with occasional overnight stays as and when required
