Alecto Recruitment is representing one of our esteemed clients who is looking for a dedicated and skilled Light Commercial Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company who are an estblaished Car & Van Main Dealer located in Leeds.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of Light Commercial Vehicles, adhering to manufacturer standards and guidelines.
- Diagnostics and Repairs: Conduct diagnostics and carry out necessary repairs to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control checks and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining diagnostic results and repair recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician or similar role.
- Qualifications: Relevant automotive qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with the latest diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to troubleshooting.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to customers and team members.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Licenses: A full UK driving license is essential.
