Light Vehicle Mechanic

We are looking for a highly motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our County Transport team who supports the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of motor vehicles including motor cars, minibuses, light goods vehicles, trailers and engineering plant.

You will need to be suitably experienced, hold a relevant vocational qualification in vehicle maintenance operations and have a valid full Driving Licence with a minimum of category B. Having some HGV experience and/or being a qualified MOT tester in Class 4, 5, and 7 would be advantageous for this role.

All standard and specialist tools and are supplied as part of the position, along with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and branded workwear.

The role will be based at our brand new bespoke Derby Workshop which is located on the outskirts of the City Centre.. The standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm.
