About The Role
- Set up (not creation) and operation of AV media for centrally produced show content
- Ensure all shows are consistently delivered to a high standard
- Liaising and working with visiting artistes and engineers
- Carry out basic levels of maintenance /repairs of lighting equipment (including soldering, wiring)
- Working at Height
- To have a working knowledge of DMX on the set up of new show support or effects
- Assist with the creative element of the performance through lighting and Audio Visual
- To adhere to Health and Safety procedures (Stage and Backstage areas)
- Basic stage craft duties
- Assisting in the setting of stage scenery
- Lifting and carrying equipment and sets (including the unloading and loading of vehicles)
- Inspire and motivate other team members with passion, energy and commitment
About You
The ideal person to take up a role as a lighting and Audio Visual technician in the technical support team would be someone that has a working knowledge of various lighting consoles, Midi control, time coding and a good working knowledge of intelligent lighting fixtures; in conjunction with knowledge of Audio Visual systems/programmes; QLab, Resolume, (Mac) are preferable.
The candidate would have a good understanding of electrical systems, power distribution equipment rigging and suspension, alongside experience in basic lighting maintenance (including soldering, electrical wiring) understanding of LED screen technology, video mixing and switching.
