As a result of growth dealing with large projects, vacancy for Lighting Project Engineer has become available in the Lighting Design Department for a Lighting Project Engineer in the London area.
What will you work on?
You will carry out surveys and will communicate matters relating to lighting applications. You will closely with the Projects Department as a member of the Survey Team.
Your day to day:
- Design of lighting schemes, prepare layout drawings and quotations to deadlines.
- To produce site surveys documentation
- Undertake site surveys.
- Undertake training, standards and regulations relating to lighting applications.
- Undertake training in the application of lamps, LEDs, luminaires, and photometric data
- Communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing to customers
- Engage in commercial activities such as exhibition stand duty as required.
- To show a degree of flexibility with regards working hours.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Office packages.
- 5 GCSEs at C grade or above
- Have strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, but also happy to work as a part of a team.
- Enjoy problem solving, have an ability to establish priorities and cope with pressure.
