Linen Porter

As a Linen Porter you will work closely with the Housekeeping team to assist them in being able to provide an excellent service for our Hotel Guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To deliver clean linen, check in the deliveries to ensure all linen is in good order, delivery ratio is correct and any rejects are accounted for
• Distribute the linen to the room attendant cupboards ensuring the team have required linen levels
• Remove soiled linen from hotel bedroom corridors, count and record soiled linen levels
• Receive housekeeping deliveries and put them in into appropriate store cupboards
• Cleaning duties as required

Hours and rate of pay

This is a casual role with a maximum of 20 hours per week, requiring daytime availability.

The shifts for this role would be Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Some weeks may only include 3 of these days.

Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour - Aged 21+ (£9.50 per hour for aged 16-18; £10.42 per hour for aged 19-20)
