Litigation Solicitor

My client is seeking an experienced Litigation solicitor with 2+ years PQE in Civil Litigation to join their thriving and well-respected Litigation Department.

You will:

• Cover a wide range of litigious matters to include: commercial disputes, professional negligence, contentious probate, property and contract disputes (in both the County and High Courts)
• Have experience of construction disputes (desirable but not essential)
• Be knowledgeable about estate agency law or willing to learn
• Work as a junior member within the existing team. Be willing to act as a team player, sharing knowledge and providing guidance to other members of the team
• Have your own client following (would be a bonus)
• Be committed to bringing in new work and cross-referring to other departments

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 2-3 years experience as a Litigation Solicitor
• Be a strong communicator and have the ability to support up to stakeholder level
• Work well independently but also an effective team player
• Have excellent communication skill, both verbal, face to face and written
• Be a first-class litigator and experienced, qualified solicitor
• Be organised, efficient and computer literate
• Have a desire for personal and professional development
• Be able to communicate well with clients, colleagues and support staff
• Be ambitious, enthusiastic and energetic - ready to play a key role in the growth and success of the Litigation Department and the firm
• Be personable and hard-working with a good billing history
• Have strong attention to detail
