Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper techniques and equipment
- Monitor and document changes in patient's condition, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Support individuals with behavioral management techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions if applicable
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for the client
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
Skills:
- Childcare experience or experience working with individuals of all ages
- Proficient in behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client transportation if required
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy, respect, and dignity
- Experience in hospice care, senior care, or assisted living is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
