This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a lovely informal family in Worcestershire. The family reside in a stunning 7,000 sq property. There are also 3-4 cottages on the estate. They have 2 children aged 3 & 17 years old and a small dog. The estate is currently under a massive refurbishment with the plan to build a conference suite on the estate.
Also employed is a full time Gardener and a Nanny.
Our client is looking for an experienced and hands on Housekeeper & Maintenance/Gardener Couple. The ideal couple will be hands on, flexible, easy going and looking to become part of the family. You must be pet and child friendly, although no childcare as such is required.
Duties will include:
- Hands on cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Simple family cooking once or twice a week.
- Shopping & running errands
- Greeting guests and assisting when the family are entertaining
- Garden maintenance and assisting the full-time gardener
- Driving duties
- Vehicle maintenance
- Swimming pool maintenance
- Handyman duties – basic DIY and minor repairs
- Liaising with contractors and tradespeople
- Security
- Maintaining the 3-4 cottages on site
- General property maintenance
Accommodation: 1 bedroom (600/700 sq) self-contained flat in the main house with a separate entrance. Pets might be considered. In the future, you might be able to reside in one of the cottages on site.
Days: ideally Tuesday to Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off.
Hours: 40 hours a week, with flexibility.
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 gpa, depending on experience
Start: August ideally, but flexible for the right Couple
