Role Description

Live in General Assistant of Killean Farmhouse and Cottages

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all public areas ensuring they are presentable and welcoming at all times.
• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and cottages and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly utilised, stored, and maintained.
• Prepare and serve a buffet-style breakfast for guests
• Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have, providing friendly and professional service at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout their stay.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs and personal circumstances.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.

Person Specification

As a General Assistant, you will be at the heart of creating a great guest experience. Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience? Fantastic, but not essential. In this role, you will be required to clean all public areas, guest rooms and cottages efficiently and to the highest possible standard, and serve a buffet-style breakfast for guests. The hours will be determined weekly, with flexibility to suit both business needs (weekends and bank holidays etc.) and personal circumstances.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
