Live In Head Housekeeper

A private Estate in Buckinghamshire requires a Live-in Head Housekeeper to work in a Private Manor House. The appointed person will be required to work both within a small established team and autonomously. A full driving licence is essential.

Full Job Description

THE ROLE

The role will cover a wide range of work to include:

· All aspects of general housekeeping

· Occasional shopping/ running errands

· Cleaning and tidying

· Washing and ironing of clothes, towels and bedding

· Dusting and polishing surfaces, sensors and silverware

· Interior window cleaning

· Cleaning of floors, rugs and carpets (including beating of rugs and furnishings)

· Organise and maintain household cleaning supplies (and ensure household areas are stocked)

· Organisation and regular checking of clothing and wardrobes

· Organisation and cleaning of kitchen, pantry and household appliances

· Watering of indoor plants and flowers

· Household bin management

· An awareness of maintenance issues that may arise, reporting them as appropriate.

· Occasional cooking when guests are In residence

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

· Communication is essential

· Attention to detail is important

· Flexibility in working hours (for holiday/sickness cover)

· Initiative

· Housekeeping experience

· Reliability and good time keeping are important.

· Full driving licence is essential.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

Role – Live In Head Housekeeper

Contract type – Full time

Hours – 8:30am – 17:00 pm Monday- Friday (40 hours per week)

Start date – ASAP

Salary- £27,000 - £30,000 Dependent on Experience.
