Live-In Housekeeper, St. John’s Wood, £45K Gpa

Silver & Bow is working with a wonderful British family of 5 to source a discreet, meticulous live-in housekeeper for their beautiful property in St. John’s Wood. You will be provided with your own bedroom and bathroom, sharing a living area and kitchen on the staff floor with the nanny. The accommodation features its own separate private entrance!
In this role you will be required to Sunday to Thursday (Friday and Saturday off), 8/8:30am – 7/7:30pm with a break in the day. In this fully staffed household, you will be responsible for all general housekeeping and keeping the household running to a 5* standards. Occasional light cooking a couple of times per week is required, however the family eat out a lot during the week and the nanny is responsible for preparing the children’s food.
The family travels a lot during school holidays so there’s lots of opportunities to get stuck into deep cleaning tasks. Travel is optional as part of the position (3-4 weeks in the summer to America).
The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail orientated, calm and efficient.
Duties:
• All general housekeeping to a high standard
• Laundry & Ironing
• Wardrobe Management
• Occasional light cooking
• Ad hoc errands
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in private household and/or 5* hotel
• Discreet, energetic and detail orientation
• Travel (optional – 3 to 4 weeks in the summer)
• Previous experience caring for delicate surfaces and delicate fabrics
Salary: £45K GPA
Accommodation: Separate bedroom and bathroom on the staff floor within the main property. Featuring shared living area and kitchen with the nanny accessed by separate private entrance.
Day/Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8/8:30am – 7/7:30pm (with a break in the day)
