A returning client is currently in need of a live-in Housekeeper to provide top-notch services. The family consists of a principal couple with occasional visits from their grown-up children.
A team of daily housekeepers is already in place, and you will be working closely with them. The house is located on a rural estate that is open to the public one day a week during the summer months.
The ideal candidate for this job would possess qualities such as calmness, energy, proactivity, and trustworthiness. It is crucial to have a composed and capable demeanour as it is a busy household with frequent entertaining events. Additionally, private shoots take place during the winter months.
A love for animals is important for this role as there are 4 in the home.
Duties to include
General hands-on housekeeping - Must have a good knowledge of the care of antiques and fine furnishings.
Laundry and Ironing
Cooking of meal. This could be a light lunch for one or a Sunday meal for a small group. Batch cooking could also be requested from time to time.
Keeping kitchen area clean
Occasionally looking after dogs
Driving essential, must have own car but car provided for work purposes
Accommodation: lovely separate accommodation provided, Partners and a dog may be considered upon vetting. Sorry, no dependants.
Working days: Monday - Friday (flexible with weekends with Time of in Lieu offered)
Hours: 40 hours a week. Flexibility would be required with hours as the house can be very busy on some days and quiet on others.
