Live-in Nanny Position in North Yorkshire

Live-in Nanny role with a lovely family, offering a separate apartment within the same town!

Job Summary: A family of 4 are looking for a live-in Nanny who can drive, to help with their two lovely daughters! Private accommodation will be provided in an apartment within the same town; therefore driving is essential; however the family will provide a car.

Duties will include getting the girls ready, taking them to classes or out in the garden, doing their washing and ironing, preparing their dinner, picking up and dropping them off at nursery, and occasionally travelling with the family. This will be shared care with Mum who is looking for someone to join their family for the longer term.

General duties:

• Shared care with mum taking care of 2 girls
• Occasional proxy parenting when parents go on holiday
• Take the girls swimming with Mum
• Laundry, ironing and washing for the children
• Keep the playroom tidy
• Prepare meals occasionally

Candidate requirements:

• Happy to travel with the family occasionally
• Confident driver
• Open to proxy parenting
• Happy to work around dogsDBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
