A national independent not-for-profit Estates Company is looking for joint (Two) live in Residential Estate Managers to co-terminus at a beautiful Luxury Estate in Wantage, Oxfordshire living in a two-bedroom apartment on the grounds.
The core working hours are based on a combined 40 hour working week usually Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. However, they operate a 365-day service to
22+ private independent residents so yourself or your deputies need to be available to respond to emergency calls through a personal alarm system.
They are looking for two Estate Managers who have potentially worked in high end service / concierge environments / hotels / restaurants / etc and can give professional reassurance to our residents. The Estate also offers a Guest Apartment, Residents Lounge, Wellness Suite and Spa, Roof Top Terrace and Car Club Hire.
Working Arrangements:
Providing support to residents
Maintaining the alarm system
The domestic routine, such as cleaning the common parts
Minor maintenance where competent to do so.
Keeping regular estate office hours
Administration and accounting
Maintenance and care of the grounds and communal gardens
Annual leave entitlement for joint Estate Managers consists of 112 days which should be broadly split as follows:
1 day per week (52 days)
1 long weekend per month of 4 days (36 days)
Balance of 24 days for extended annual leave (112-88 (52+36) = 24)
Leave may be taken in ways to fit in with your personal needs and in conjunction of the availability of the Relief Managers.
Package:
Joint Resident Estate Managers salary: circa £29,000 per annum £14,500 each per annum.
Ground floor, 2 bed roomed flat. Rent of £56.25 per month (each) will be deducted from salary for accommodation. All utilities bills are included (except telephone).
Council tax included.
Commission for resale of properties - jointly £500 per sale
