We are looking for both newly qualified Social Workers and experienced Social Workers, to embrace an exciting opportunity and become part of a multi-specialist team, working in a strength-based way, promoting independence, whilst aiming to make a real difference to the lives of adults who experience Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and ASD. You will need to be an excellent communicator, who is resilient and compassionate and able to apply creativity to the ways in which you support people within the community.
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying strengths, needs and risk.
- Working in accordance with the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and Care Act.
- Keeping people safe and undertaking safeguarding enquires
- Using a range of information technology applications
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
You must have a recognised Social Work qualification, registered with Social Work England, with a sound knowledge base of relevant social care legislation. We require both Band A and B applicants. For Band B, you must have at least 2 years experience as a qualified Social Worker.
We have a long history of multi-disciplinary and partnership working with other agencies. You will have strong commitment to working as part of a team and networking across a wide range of agencies.

You will receive regular supervision, both formally and informally and be supported to attend training to progress your career and meet Social Work England’s continued professional development requirements.
