SalaryPod Talent is excited to be working with a global alcoholic beverages business based in Chiswick who is looking for a Load Planner to join their exciting and growing team!
This role is based in the Chiswick Park area, Mon-Friday from 6AM to 3PM.
As a Load Planner you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of vehicles, planning for capcity and routes for drivers, and work on maximising efficiency and cost saving practices. You will also be involved in servicing the vehicles and reaching out to 3rd party maintenance where necessary.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong foundation in transport planning with experience in managing a mixed fleet of vehicles, liaising with drivers and planning the best routes.
Responsibilities
As a Load Planner, you will…
- Planning for routes and capacity for a fleet of vehicles
- Work closely with fleet maintenance partners to ensure vehicles are maintained to the best standard
- Assisting with the driver's infringements and one to one, capturing this on the FTA Vision portal allowing good visibility for Audits.
- Guarantee OTIF delivery and plan for the most efficient routes for deliveries
- Liaise with the warehouse and customer service teams to ensure the maximum efficiency
Requirements
A successful candidate ideally has…
- Permanent right to work in the UK (must)
- Experience working with Paragon (must)
- 2+ years' experience in transport/load planning or similar roles
- Experience planning for a mixed fleet and multi site drops
- Ability to demonstrate examples of KPI improvements (cost saving/ milage reduction/ efficiencies)
