Pay rate : £15.69 – Salary £35,500 P/A

Aspion are currently looking for an experienced Loading shovel driver/technician to join a growing team for a very well-established company in the Ellesmere Port area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidate to experience a varied job role working on the machines and being hands on at an operative level.

Job Description:

The main tasks involved in this role will be:

• Load and unload products in the yards area, work as part of a team and be able to bend and pick up items
• To carry out driving duties transporting material around site and loading of vehicles whilst working outdoors.
• To ensure the safe efficient operation of the plant including routine maintenance, production levels, and production related quality and target achievement for the site under your control as directed by the Senior Glass Technicians.
• To assist the safe operating and usage of all plant, and for the repairs and breakdown of equipment machinery and site operated vehicles, in use or in operation on the site, and for removing from service any of these items having any faults or defects which might bring their safe use or operation into question, and the reporting to the Senior Glass Technicians accordingly.
• Develop and maintain all process documentation, ensuring compliance with current standards on safety, quality, reliability, and process, and ensures standards are followed.
• Flexibility to cover all technician rolls throughout the plant.
• Sets and maintains high standards for housekeeping.

4 on 4 off days and night shifts 6am to 6pm
