About the Team and Role

Are you looking for new exciting challenge working with the Area Highway Team in our Highway Depot assisting in the maintenance and management of the highway network?

 

The County Council is looking to recruit a Local Highway Manager who will assist the Area Team designing, specifying and communicating maintenance requirements to our Contractor; and assist with highways related enquiries, whilst providing a high level of customer service. 

 

About You

As Local Highway Manager you will be the frontline customer interface for Highway related contact within a designated geographical area. Providing an excellent level of customer service to external customers and members through face to face, written and verbal communications.

 

You should have relevant experience in highway maintenance civil engineering construction and/or integrated transport fields as well as a proven record of experience within highways winter maintenance and emergency management.
