Working with the Local Land Charges Officer, the role of Local Land Charges Assistant will play a crucial role delivering the Council’s Local Land Charges Service. We have a proven track record for providing a prompt and efficient service and you will be key in helping maintain those standards.
About the Role
Duties include the efficient and expedient updating of the Council’s Local Land Charges Register, assisting with the processing and response to CON29 Search requests and dealing with Land Charges related enquiries.
You will also assist with other tasks relating to our Street Naming & Numbering, Pre Application Administration and Local Land & Property Gazetteer work

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate would ideally be someone with relevant related Land Charges experience but more importantly you will have good administrative skills, attention to detail, and be able to effectively use Microsoft IT package throughout your day-to-day work.
You will be ambitious for new opportunities and want to work as part of a dynamic and friendly team to meet the Borough’s ambitions.

This post is considered by the authority to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.
