Job description

Plan and organise complex activities including participation in community development and capacity building programmes in partnership with the community and voluntary agencies as appropriate. Comply with HDFT and local Safeguarding Children Partnership policies and procedures, engage as required with safeguarding partners, promoting integrated safeguarding practice Support the service manager in ensuring user feedback and involvement of children, parents and carers in the development of services and quality assurance. Promote the needs of children, young people and their families and local communities in the development of community child health services. Actively participate in the directorate's strong clinical governance framework. Assist and support the service manager in the profiling and on-going monitoring of caseloads and workloads, using and interpreting quality data, revising as required the allocation of resource to areas of greatest need. Support and ensuring the highest standards of record keeping are maintained throughout the teams. Deputise for the service manager as required. Manage any absence of team staff within the service working in collaboration with HR to ensure effective and appropriate use of the sickness and absence policy. Promote the needs of children, young people and their families and local communities in the development of community child health services. Ensure compliance with NMC and Trust requirements for own continuing professional development and maintaining competency.
