Panoramic Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Childcare Lawyerto join our client, a Local Authority in the Midlands with a specific focus on childcare pre-proceedings work. This role is also offered on a fully remote working basis.
The role also does not require advocacy and you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of childcare work. This will include general duty work and advising the social care team on procedure and safeguarding work, drafting applications and providing sound, pragmatic advice.
Essential criteria:
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, alternatively, non-qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
- Past experience working within a local government childcare law team.
- Good practical knowledge of Children’s Social Care and Public Law proceedings.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
