Tower Hamlets is seeking to recruit a Senior Contracts / Commercial Lawyer who will provide high quality legal and procurement advice on contract and commercial matters for all areas of the Council including complex construction, regeneration and ICT matters.

Knowledge of local government governance issues is desirable but not essential. It is an exciting time in Tower Hamlets and a great opportunity to join the Council and help shape its future.

Tower Hamlets has an established Lexcel accredited Legal Team that provides services to the Council across the full range of its functions. We strive to provide excellent services and pride ourselves on the exciting variety of work we undertake in-house.

We are looking for experienced and highly motivated professionals to join the existing team. This is a full time role, based in the Town Hall with the flexibility for remote working
