Birdgate Dental is a well established private dental practice in Pickering.

This locum position is not regular days - it is to help with overflow of patients until we appoint an permanent associate - however, the right candidate will be offered a long term permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Conduct routine dental exams and cleanings
- Create treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Proficiency in anatomy knowledge, medical imaging, and computer-aided design (CAD)
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner
