Hunter Gatherer AHP is looking for a highly experienced Biomedical Scientist with a background in Haematology to work with our client based in Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand on their skills in a highly reputable NHS hospital!
- Job Title: Haematology Biomedical Scientist - Band 5 and 6 to be considered
- Location: Essex
- Duration: 3 month rolling contract
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours, Nights and weekends required at times (Core hours only initially)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of pay: £20 - 27 p/h DOE and Banding
Analysers:
Blood transfusion: Griffols
Haematology: Sysmex XE-5000
Coag - ACL
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
- Current HCPC Registration
- IBMS Accredited Degree
- Experience working within a Blood Transfusion laboratory
- At least 6 months UK experience in a lab
Working hours and contract duration:
This position will require you to work from Monday to Sunday, but hours can be somewhat flexible. The contract is a 3 month contract with review for extension into the new financial year.
